Bxx is a trans-media company specializing in productions aimed at exploiting the Internet experience. It is brain-child of writer-producer Daniel Knauf.
Determined to tailor a fictional narrative to exploit the new medium, Knauf set out to shape a storytelling format that caters to the way in which users interact with it. He created the box-narrative. The whole construct is designed to manipulate them into behaviors that the producers hope will be interesting or fun to watch. In a box-narrative, the beginning, middle and end is worked out by a writer and performed by professional actors. It’s like a 48 hour movie, with scenes set in separate locations playing simultaneously in all the theaters of an 18 screen multiplex.
For his first project, Bxx: HAUNTED, a supernatural thriller in which a paranormal investigation goes tragically wrong, the entire story is confined to the eight rooms of a suburban house, each covered by several video cameras.
Bxx: HAUNTED premieres March 23, 2012 exclusively by password-protected invitation only. For more information, or to register for an invitation to the premiere, visit bxxweb.com
